Maintenance is boring, cheap and worth thousands of rupees a year. This is the schedule we give every client, unchanged, because it is the one that keeps units alive past the twelve-month mark.

Products to avoid
Most damage we repair comes from four ordinary bathroom items.
- Sulphate shampoos — they strip knot sealant.
- Alcohol-based removers and sanitiser near the perimeter — they dry and crack poly.
- Silicone-heavy conditioners at the root — they cause slippage at the bond line.
- Hot dryers and straighteners above 150°C on the base area — knots melt before hair does.
Monsoon adjustments for MMR and Pune
From June to September, sweat and rain shorten bond life by roughly a week. Move to a stronger hold adhesive, keep a small solvent bottle in your bag, and dry the base fully every time it soaks.
If you commute by two-wheeler, a helmet liner made of satin or microfibre prevents the friction bald spot that develops at the crown of a system over a wet season.
