Hair patch price in India: what you actually pay in 2026
A custom hair patch in India costs between ₹8,000 and ₹32,000. The spread is not a sales tactic — it is base material, hair grade and whether the unit is cut to your scalp or pulled off a shelf.
The three price bands
₹8,000–₹14,000 buys a stock-size unit, machine-knotted, usually a thicker skin base with a blunt front. It works, it is just not invisible at the hairline.
₹14,000–₹24,000 is the custom band: your template, your density, a lace or hybrid front, Indian human hair. This is where most of our orders land.
₹24,000–₹32,000 is Remy hair, silk or hybrid construction, grey-blend matching and a hand-tied invisible hairline.
What raises the price legitimately
Hair grade is the single biggest factor. Cuticle-aligned Remy hair costs multiples of processed hair and lasts proportionally longer.
Grey blending is priced per percentage because grey hair is sorted by hand.
Length over 12 inches, curl matching and multi-directional partings all add manufacturing hours.
The running cost nobody quotes you
Budget ₹1,500–₹4,500 per re-bond, every three to six weeks in Mumbai humidity.
Adhesives, solvent and system-safe shampoo run roughly ₹800–₹1,500 a month.
A front refill once or twice in the life of a unit costs ₹2,000–₹6,000 and buys months of extra wear.
What the same patch costs in Mumbai vs Pune
The unit price does not move between our cities - a French lace crown patch is quoted the same in Andheri as in Baner, because it comes from the same manufacturer at the same cost. What moves is the running cost, and it moves a lot.
A Mumbai, Thane or Navi Mumbai wearer re-bonds every three to four weeks through the humid months. A Pune wearer on the same system usually stretches to five or six. Over twelve months that difference alone is four to six extra service visits, which is roughly the price of a second unit.
The other coastal cost is lifespan. Sweat shortens a skin base faster than anything else, so a Mumbai client on poly often buys two units a year where a Pune client on the same base buys one and a half. Budget for the city you actually live in, not the number in the advertisement.
Before you commit: a checklist
Take this to any studio, including ours. If a supplier will not answer these plainly, that is the answer.
