A thin polyurethane base, 0.03–0.08 mm, that sits directly on the scalp and reads as skin at the parting. The most invisible option and the easiest to clean.

Base material
Swiss Lace Base
Fine Swiss lace that disappears against the scalp and lets air through. The softest front hairline available, and the first choice for humid coastal wear.
Lifespan: 3–6 months of daily wear
French Lace Base
A slightly heavier lace than Swiss. Almost as invisible but noticeably more durable, which makes it the sensible default for a first custom system.
Lifespan: 5–9 months of daily wear
Monofilament Base
A fine mesh, hand-knotted so hair can move in any direction. The longest-lasting base type and the most forgiving of daily handling.

Silk Top Base
A layered silk construction where knots are hidden underneath, so the parting shows scalp-coloured silk instead of knots. The gold standard for women's toppers.

Lace where you need invisibility and skin where you need a strong bond. Our most-ordered construction for Mumbai and Thane clients.

Hair type
Indian Human Hair
Single-drawn Indian human hair with natural body. Matches most Indian hair textures straight out of manufacture and takes heat styling without shine.
Lifespan: Matches the base lifespan
Remy Single-Drawn Hair
Cuticle-aligned hair with all strands running root-to-tip in the same direction, so it resists tangling far longer than non-Remy hair.
Lifespan: Longest-wearing hair grade
Grey-Blend Hair (10–70% Grey)
Salt-and-pepper blends knotted to a specified grey percentage, so you are not forced into dyeing your own hair to match a black patch.
Lifespan: Matches the base lifespan
Attachment method
Tape Attachment
Double-sided medical tape around the perimeter. Removable at home, gentle on skin and the easiest system to self-manage.
Lifespan: 5–10 days per application
Liquid Adhesive Bonding
Waterproof liquid adhesive across the bonded zone. The most secure attachment available and the one we use for gym-goers and swimmers.
Lifespan: 3–6 weeks per bond
Clip-In Attachment
Pressure-sensitive clips that grip your own hair. Nothing adhesive, on and off in seconds, and completely reversible.
Lifespan: Reusable indefinitely; clips replaced yearly
Micro-Ring / Weave Attachment
The system is tied to your existing hair with micro rings or a fine track. No adhesive touches the scalp at all.
Lifespan: 6–8 weeks between tightening

Low Density (Natural Look)
90–110% density with a deliberately sparse front row. Looks like real hair because real hair is not uniformly thick.

Curly & Wavy Texture
Body-wave through to tight-curl textures knotted to match your own curl pattern, so the patch does not go straight while your hair waves.

Invisible Front Hairline
Single-strand, bleached-knot, irregular-line front construction with graded density over the first two centimetres. This is what makes a system pass at conversation distance.

The four decisions, in the order they matter
People usually start with hair type because it is the part they can picture. In practice it is the third-most important choice. Decide in this order and the rest follows.

Base material
This is the decision that everything else hangs off. It sets breathability, lifespan, how invisible your parting is and which adhesives are even usable. Get it wrong for your climate and no amount of good hair rescues the unit.

Attachment method
Second, because it has to match how you live rather than how the system looks. Daily removal, gym sessions, helmets and adhesive sensitivity all point to different answers, and the wrong one is the most common cause of scalp irritation.

Density & style
Third, and almost always lower than you first think. Density is what separates a system that reads as hair from one that reads as a wig — and in humid cities a lighter unit also vents better and holds its bond longer.

Last, because by this point the brief is narrow. Indian human hair suits most clients; Remy earns its premium at longer lengths; grey blending is priced per percentage and should be re-checked at every reorder.
