Your first hair patch fitting: what to expect
Two appointments, roughly ninety minutes each, three to five weeks apart. Here is exactly what happens at both.
Appointment one: consultation and template
Scalp and hair-loss assessment, plus photos for your file.
Cling-film template of the coverage area — painless, about ten minutes.
Hair sample cut from behind the ear for colour, curl and grey matching.
Base, density, hairline and attachment method agreed and written down.
Appointment two: fitting and haircut
The area is trimmed and cleaned, then patch-tested if it is your first bond.
The system is bonded, then cut into your own hair — this is the step that makes it disappear.
Styling, plus a practice run of removal and re-application with you doing it.

The two appointments, and what happens between them
A custom fitting is two appointments separated by the manufacturing window, and confusion about that gap is the most common frustration we hear from people who bought elsewhere.
The first visit is 45 minutes: scalp assessment, a cling-film template of the loss area, a cut hair sample for colour and curl, and a written price band. Nothing is bonded and nothing is ordered until you approve the plan.
The second visit is around two hours once the unit arrives: attachment, haircut, styling and a walkthrough of how to remove and re-bond it yourself. You leave finished. If travelling twice is impractical, both appointments can happen at your home anywhere in MMR or Pune.
Before you commit: a checklist
Take this to any studio, including ours. If a supplier will not answer these plainly, that is the answer.
- 1Bring a photo of your hair from five to ten years ago - it settles the hairline discussion fastest.
- 2Bring any previous system you have worn; its fit problems tell us what to correct.
- 3Do not cut or colour your own hair in the week before the template appointment.
- 4Expect a written price band at visit one, before anything is ordered.
- 5Block two hours for the fitting itself, and plan it before an event rather than the same day.
